Staveley Limousins was founded in 1991, with the best genetics from the Wintles Herd of Pedigree Limousins, owned by the late Jack Bedell. The herd was based at Neuadd Isaf, Penybont, Llandrindod Wells, Powys, Wales, and is now based in Forfar, Angus, Scotland.
Many show successes were recorded in the 1990's, thanks to the efforts of George Cormack, and his wife Natalie. Championships were won at all three Royal Shows, as well as Royal Smithfield, then held in London's Earls Court.
Staveley has held 4 production sales, both on farm, and at Borderway Market, Carlisle, with five figure prices been recorded. French genetics on the sire side, has always been used, and semen from these now proven bulls, is available for worldwide distribution.
Quality temperament, confirmation, locomotion, breed type and good performance figures, are our key breeding aims.
